BIO
The name Satya means "truth" -- and that's exactly what 24 yr-old Oakland artist Satya delivers on her first two EPs "Deep Blue" (2022) and "Flourish Against Fracture" (2019), and her forthcoming debut album, "Yellow House", due later this year.
Featured on Discovered on Apple Music with Ebro Darden, and radio stations across the country, Satya's genre-bending music fuses soul, folk and R&B. In her early career she has supported artists ranging from Masego to Sheila E. to Jason Isbell.
In February Satya will release a series of videos from a live recording session at 25th Street Recording in Oakland, produced by San Francisco radio station KALW. She will also release her new single "Mine", recorded with LA artist St Panther.
